Designed by and for second-language learners, our workshops provide a premium, guided experience that fosters enriching, collaborative learning, no matter where participants are on their journey. Each workshop is a comprehensive learning experience, thoughtfully crafted and reinforced with a wide range of resources that have been tried, tested, and proven to support successful Māori language acquisition.

  • This workshop is designed for teams and organisations looking to build confidence and competence in te reo Māori with little prior knowledge. In this session, participants will gain essential pronunciation skills to boost confidence and become familiar with key Māori words, including place names and everyday workplace items. Team members will also develop foundational skills for introducing themselves in Māori, using a proven framework tailored to professional contexts, and will practice common workplace greetings and farewells for meetings, emails, and more.

  • More than just a refresher, this workshop is for teams that have completed our Foundations for Teams course or similar modules to reactivate your team's Māori language skills for practical workplace impact. Participants will build confidence through incantations that enhance cultural understanding, go beyond basic introductions to create authentic connections with proverbs and expansive acknowledgments and explore essential language for business communications. This includes marketing messaging and presenting your mission and services with cultural authenticity.

    • Workplace Essentials: This workshop is designed for teams looking to start their learning journey. It's perfect for those with little to no prior knowledge, focusing on pronunciation, basic introductions, and essential workplace language.

    • Foundations in Action: This learning session builds on existing Māori language skills and focuses on more complex workplace language and cultural engagement. It's most suited to teams who have completed our Foundations for Teams course and want to activate and refine their language skills in professional contexts.

  • Our workshops are available from March to May 2025. We recommend booking early, as spots are limited and tend to fill up quickly!

  • The workshop investment includes resource development, in-person workshop facilitation, and carefully designed take-home resources for your team to reinforce their learning. Travel costs are additional.

  • During the workshop, we share a range of premium printed and digital materials, including guides, resource books, worksheets, and language reference sheets. These resources are designed to reinforce learning and can be used beyond the workshop.
